A very rare document with a handwritten signature of the penultimate undisputed monarch of France, King Louis Philippe I (1773-1850, King of France in 1830-48). A letter, or rather a note, written on thin paper in Paris on March 20, 1839 and addressed to Baron Mounier, says that "the opening of the session of the Chambers is scheduled for next Tuesday, March 26, and that you must attend." Edouard Mounier (1784-1843) was a French politician. At the bottom is the signature of Felix Bar (1795-1863), a French lawyer who served as Secretary of State for Justice and Religion in 1837-39. A few very minor, light folds. Size 170*230 mm. Guarantee of authenticity. With proper design in the frame will be a wonderful status gift!
