The original photo is in excellent collector's condition. On the reverse side there are traces of gluing into the album and owner's notes in pencil. Guarantee of authenticity. Suojeluskunta (Finnish: Suojeluskunta, "civil guard") is a voluntary paramilitary organization in Finland. It was created in 1918 to fight the "red" Finns and Soviet troops during the Finnish Civil War. In the West, it is known as the "white guard". In 1940, members of the Schutskor were accepted into the Finnish Armed Forces. It was disbanded in 1944.
