A set of uniforms of the private infantry of the US Army during the Second World War

An extremely rare, almost complete set of uniforms that can decorate any museum showcase or private collection. The lot includes a 1943 field jacket with a manufacturer's tag, trousers, boots, an M1 helmet, a field satchel with a sapper shovel, a waist belt with a pouch for a Thompson M1928 submachine gun and a holster for a Colt pistol of the 1911 model, released in 1943, a flask of the 1942 model and canvas gaiters. This is the first time such a lot has been on sale for many years. Most of the elements have stamps from the war period. The breadcrumb bag shown in the photo is not included in the package.
