The original large format photo is in very good condition. The title on the agency's tag on the back reads: "DIE ARMADA AM HIMMELZELT" ("Armada in the firmament"). According to the text, the photo itself shows 18 bombers of the American navy during maneuvers over The Pacific Ocean. The description details the construction of the aircraft: they move in a "wedge" (Keilf örmigen Anordnung), while the front nine cars fly slightly higher to "cover" the nine aircraft following them. The text was prepared by the Bureau New York Times Berlin. Such photos were sent to newspapers and magazines for the publication of news materials. A rare picture. Guarantee of authenticity.
