A very rare and interesting find of our store is a ring approved by Harvard University for the winners of the Ivy Hockey League, which belonged to former Montreal Canadiens hockey player Louis Leblanc. Steel alloy, nickel plating, artificial stones, enamel. The size is 19 mm. Guarantee of authenticity.
Louis Jean Joseph Leblanc (born January 26, 1991) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey center. Leblanc played minor hockey in the Montreal Region before moving to the United States in 2008, playing one season for the Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) and becoming the rookie of the year. He was selected in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft as the 18th overall pick by the Montreal Canadiens. He then enrolled at Harvard University and spent one season with the Crimson, being named the Ivy League Rookie of the Year before signing with the Canadiens in 2010. Later that year, Leblanc joined the Montreal Juniors, who had previously acquired his rights to play in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). Leblanc spent three seasons with the Canadiens, mostly playing for their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, before being traded to the Anaheim Ducks in 2014, who retained him in the AHL. In 2015, Leblanc moved to Europe, joining HC Slovan Bratislava of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), although he played only seven games for them before being released. After appearing in four matches for Lausanne HC of the Swiss National League A, he retired from hockey. Internationally, Leblanc played in the 2008 Ivan Glinka Memorial Tournament, where Canada won the gold medal, and in the 2011 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships, where he helped Canada win the silver medal. Leblanc was considered a loser in the draft because he could not reach his potential and retired from hockey at an early age.
