American Campaign medal) is a military award of the United States, established on November 6, 1942. Developed by the Heraldic Department of the US Armed Forces. The medal was awarded to those members of the U.S. Army who, in the period from December 7, 1941 to March 2, 1946, served on land, ships in the United States or for 30 days outside of it and participated in combat operations.
