Biographical note: Nikolai Rudnev (1894 — 1918 gg) — a wartime officer of the Russian Imperial army, in the Civil war in Russia, Bolshevik. Born October 29, (10 on November new style) 1894 in the village Latorica Epifanceva district, Tula province in the family of an Orthodox priest. He graduated from the parish school and religious school. In 1915 he entered the University of the historical Department, where participated in the student revolutionary group.
