Original and extremely rare sign in excellent condition. The size of 47.5*55.5 mm. the Weight of 21.65 g. Silver, enamel. Hallmarks: on back side of sign – assay "88" Petrogradskaya district assay the Safety almost excellent, beautiful patina, minor enamel chips. Patrikeev, Boinovich.1# 3.28.b. Approved on 5 may 1913 Belonged to G. H. von Strick. On the reverse side of the sign on the wings of an eagle engraved:" No. 1518, G. von Strick".
Society of the widespread aid to the victims in the war on the soldiers and their families was established in 1881 and was under the patronage of H. I. H. the Emperor. The society had as its goal to provide material support to wounded soldiers, to promote their complete recovery and restoration of health, as well as to help them procure due to them, pensions, allowances and awards. The society was: help Desk, Dorm, medical Department, workshops, tutorial. the Council for the provision of cash assistance and the Committee on the organization of local departments in European and Asian Russia. The society published "the Bulletin of the Society". The membership fee was not less than RUB 3 Central management Board of the company was located in St. Petersburg.
