The set of books "Premium weapons on the portraits of Russian officers"

«Premium weapons on the portraits of Russian officers» is a unique project of our store, which is the result of work of several years of sourcing and attribution of photographs of officers of the Russian Imperial army, pictured with the award weapons. Albums about 280 rare photos.

In the Internet on various forums for many years a debate going on about what the label “courage" existed, and which are not; which was attached to St George's crosses on the arms and “cranberry» Anninsky, and where it is not; as you did with the prize marks on the scabbards and hilts checkers, etc. the Result of these discussions, as a rule, becomes the negation of all non-standard. That is why one of the main tasks of the album we made an illustration of the various design options premium weapons on the example of original photographs of that time, as conclusive evidence of the realities of the past. In addition, we tried not to leave the most part faceless portraits, because the people depicted on them are the real heroes of his time.

Albums, we decided to split into several parts: “Anninsky weapons”, “Prize weapons”, “George weapons and dual-award” and to publish two small applications “Premium weapons on the portraits of Russian officers” and “Premium weapons in the army.  Most of the images in the book are themselves collectors, for what they are separate thank you. Part of the pictures taken by us from public sources. In addition to text descriptions and directly of the photos of the officers, some images contain color photograph of arms is depicted. Unfortunately, discover the genuine swords and daggers belonging to one or other officers, it is almost impossible, so we, for example, the original objects from the collection of Alexander Gvozdeva (agvozd), tried to make some “reconstruction", picking up things, approximately similar to those depicted in the hands of the heroes. I hope this move will allow even more clearly to perceive the photographic material of the album.
