Unlike combat units, officer positions in the State militia recruited from among retired officers, who had limitation of fitness for health reasons, but also from civil officials, who for this purpose could be renamed in officer ranks (if their previous service gave them such a right) or to be enrolled in the rank "zauryad", i.e. at the time of the state in this position. In this case, the absence in the lower part of the ring is narrow transverse stripe suggests that the represented has officer rank and, apparently, called up from the reserves. He was dressed in a coat sewn by the cut officer's coats in peacetime, but a special, so-called soldiers ' superior cloth, and already quite worn. Headdress – grey papakha sample 1910, which is clearly visible militia cross. Equipment – omeopatiche sample in 1912 and is armed with the officer's checker pattern 1909 revolver with Hiking braided leather cord. Interesting detail – the spurs on the boots, which relied staff officers (Colonel and colonels), and aides; other officers wore them "just in case, when ordered to be on top". Drawing the heel is typical for a provincial photo Studio and, unfortunately, does not allow to determine where exactly the picture was taken; however, it gives the photo a unique atmosphere. Postcard format. Recommended!
