A very rare and interesting document with a handwritten autograph by Yu . Witte is the father of the Russian Prime Minister S.Y. Witte. Hood. I. Charlemagne. Lit. V. Timma. Size 40x52.5 cm. Paper, lithography. Passepartout, frame, glass. The sheet is duplicated, the restoration of tears, the loss of corners and fragments along the upper margin are filled in, scuffs in the lower left corner, ink fading. The exhibition of agricultural and industrial products of the Caucasus and Transcaucasian region was held in Tbilisi in 1863 . (The Society was founded in 1833, exhibitions have been held since 1860).
A real commendation sheet was presented to the Tiflis gunsmith and silversmith To Pasha Parsadanov for what was presented at the exhibition "weapons set in gold and silver." The awarding of a gunsmith with a commendation sheet is also written in No. 3 "Notes Of the Caucasian Society of Agriculture" for 1864, the president of the society, the father of S.Y. Witte, Julius Fedorovich Witte, and an honorary member of the society, one of the members of the organization of the exhibition, a full state councilor left their signatures on the sheet Nikolai Prokofievich Sitovsky. The patron of the society, apparently, was signed by a general, one of the participants in the Caucasian War, Prince Grigory Dmitrievich Orbeliani. In 1860, he was appointed Governor-General of Tiflis. The commendation sheet was published in the album by A. Japaridze and I. Pavlova "Caucasian daggers" (2016). A rarity. Almost no such sheets have been preserved. An important evidence of the participation of Caucasian gunsmiths in exhibitions.
